27 Jun AGPAL – Quality in Practice Awards
We are very proud of our recent achievement in receiving the “Highly Commended” award for Safety and Quality. We provide you a very small snapshot of our submission of the systems and services we provide that were recognised nationally with this award at the recent AGPAL Conference in Brisbane. It gave us great pleasure to be able to send both Kellie and Carmen along to this Conference to receive this award on behalf of our whole Practice team.
Woodcroft Medical Centre (WMC) strives to provide a quality service that gives the best possible personal health outcomes to all patients regardless of their social or economic background. The demographic in our community is quite varied and, as a team, we endeavour to ensure that we understand a patients needs and offer the appropriate service at the time it is required.
We have very strong systems in place and are very team focused. Part of these systems is our Nurse Admin Assistant (NNA) role. Our NNA has provided so many of our patients with community services and resources to help them in their daily lives. She has specific interests in DVA/ATSI/Dementia/Domestic Violence and the elderly to name a few and has made such a difference to the quality and safety of these patients lives.
Patient and staff safety is paramount to our practice culture and again our robust systems ensure that everyone who is working in, or visiting our Practice, feel safe, respected and appreciated whatever their role is. Makes for a very happy team that, in turn, makes for very happy patients!
